Hexblood
Hexblood are a four-piece sludge metal band emerging from the UK’s south coast (Dorset/Hampshire), bringing filthy riffs, down-tuned aggression and visceral heaviness to each performance. Formed by musicians steeped in doom and extreme metal traditions, Hexblood combine slow, downtuned sludge intensity with stoner-infused heaviness and an uncompromising live presence.
The band’s first show on 17 January at The Hobbit sold out, marking an early milestone in their growing reputation. Their sound blends the crushing weight of sludge doom with stoner and heavy metal sensibilities, perfect for fans of riff-driven riff-dominant extremes.
Hexblood are currently working on their debut four-track EP Demons, set for release in October, while gearing up to drop Ultra-Violence as a single in April. With lyrics exploring darkness and catharsis and performances steeped in raw power, Hexblood are carving a gritty niche in the UK metal scene.
