Avikari is a solo progressive metal project founded by Vancouver-based guitarist and composer John Huang. Blending melodic and technical riffing with heavy, unpredictable breakdowns, Avikari pushes modern progressive metal into emotionally driven and spiritually inspired territory. With releases including Enervation of an Ethos (2015) and NCR(2024), the project continues to evolve toward its upcoming third album A Light in the Void (2026).
